A crispy fried bread drenched in sugar syrup and drowned in rich sweetened milk and this whole lot is topped with any of your favorite nuts…

|Ghee / oil||For deep frying|
|Chopped nuts||2 tblsp|
|Corn flour||1 tsp|
|Rose essence||2-3 drops|
Start by making Rabri…In a wide mouth kadai pour in milk and add in cardamom pods, saffron soaked in 3 tblsp of warm milk and the corn flour mixed in 2-3 tblsp of milk to it.
Bring this to boil and reduce to ¼…Now add in sugar and mix well..Let it boil till it reaches your required consistency..But you could make it thinner..Add rose essence at last. if you want you can add the chopped nut in this stage
Now make sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water for 10 mins until it reaches one string consistency..If you take the spoon out of the syrup,it forms a string..
Now take your bread slices and cut into your desired shape..
Shallow fry the bread pieces in ghee till it turns golden on both sides..Drain it and set aside.
Immerse the fried bread pieces in sugar syrup and let it soak for 5 mins..Now remove that and plate it up..
Take a plate and pour some rabri in the bottom of the plate..Add the fried bread slices on top and pour some more rabri on top(if you wish).
Garnish with nuts and serve warm or cold..
